Have you never seen authors and artists? A subculture will always try and be known within that sub culture.

[It wasn’t like he was giving people his name Shen Yuan, and talking about IRL stuff. If novel fans could recognize him across sites it made life easier, it also made his words carry more weight behind them. But then, he had worked hard to gain the reputation he had and be a known a prolific reviewer that earned trust in his taste.
