Just trying to take a quick tally here, because it's relevant. How many people here have had previous encounters with worlds or dimensions that, uh... 'borrow' you for a while. Basically, is this your first ride in the multi-verse of fucked up stuff, or are you experienced. If the latter, what was the last place like?

I'll start. I'm David Alleyne, I spent several months in a city called Dualis. I heard from some people there that they'd previously been in other places. So I have to assume this just... happens.

Anyway, mostly asking because the more we know, maybe the better chance we have of getting home.

I'm a bit good at a lot of things. I'm hoping it will be useful. But I suppose my first concern should be as a doctor.

I arrived with a few things from my world; did you as well? Anything useful on that front?

No, because I cam from a world since then. And apparently this place didn't see fit to take me with my computers. Just my glasses, but there isn't any computer systems for them to interface with.

Even if they did, I doubt you'd be able to use them to their full potential anyway.

Very true. Where would I plug them in for one thing? No internet for another, just this strange network.

Though I'll have to admit, networks aren't my forte, unless we're talking more of piloting systems and the like.

With how many people you've got replying about different worlds, however, I wonder if stumbling into new people continuously would be a theme. We should have a welcome wagon.

If there's a welcome wagon, I definitely don't want involved in that. Meeting people was never my strong point.

And besides, not all of them would have the kind of experience we have in navigating this world. It doesn't hurt to try.
